Zhangjiagang Chemical Industrial Park, approved by Jiangsu Province, is a habitat of chemical enterprises in Zhangjiagang. Functioning as an industrial fitting zone for Zhangjiagang Bonded Area, it has a planning coverage of 6.64 square kilometers, and is the most ideal investment place available in the world.
 For the time being some projects have been put into operation: East Ocean Oils & Grains Industrial Co. covers 25 hectares with 120 million USD investment; Heat and Power Plant covers 11 hectares with 20.24 million USD investment; Oriental Unocal Energy Co., Ltd. covers 15 hectares with 55 million USD investment. And some of the projects are under construction: US Dow--Japan Xuhuacheng Chemical Base covers 50 hectares with planned investment of 400 million USD; Chevron Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. covers 20.2 hectares with a planned investment of 300 million USD; Yongwang Iron&Steel Co., Ltd.covers 31 hectares with a planned investment of 30 million USD; Fire control Center covers 2 hectares with a planned investment of 1 million USD.

 Chevron Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. are the two biggest investment projects in the chemical park till now. Dow--Japan Xuhuacheng Chemical Base invesst 80.47 million USD to set up a polystyrene production line with annual output of 120 thousand tons; 28.7 million USD to set up a benzene glue production line with an annual output of 450 thousand tons; 15 million USD to build a liquid chemical dock. As for Chevron Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., the first batch of investment is 91.67 million USD to set up polystyrene production line with annual output of 100-thousand tons£»the second batch of investment will add another 55million USD, and the continuous projects are under planning. Within the park, we have a complete set of facilities.  Fire Control Center, Heat and Power Plant,Tap Water Factory have been built up. And the Sewage Treatment Factory is under planning.
